Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from shadows cast on grass. A few months later she came up with a technique that didn't create the object she chose on canvas as an image that was flat. Rather the subject is transformed into a reproduction of itself in which the painting becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subjects are alive or perishable like people or fruits. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral, but the photo is what is left. Trompe-l'oeil art is created by combining the two techniques of photographing and painting. It creates an unflattened and two-dimensional image. Sometimes, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional environment around them, which allows them to engage with the self-created universe. Through this, Meade has removed the borders between painting, photography and the performance.
