Lis Wiehl was born August 19th, 1962. She was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
Her previous position was as associate professor of law at The University of Washington Law School. She also has provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual, and National Public Radio. Wiehl, who was born and grew up at Yakima within Washington State, graduated in Yakima at West Valley High School. She is a graduate of an undergraduate degree in Arts in English from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was an US Attorney. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She taught law as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. Wiehl served as a Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
