Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actor as well as a musician, playback singer and actress for Tamil films and Malayalam film. Annayum Rasoolum Malayalam film made her Malayalam debut as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in an Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. There is also one younger sister, who works as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah comes from Chennai. She went to National Public School, and then graduated Women's Christian College. Andrea began playing the piano classically in her 8th year. Young Stars, a Jackson Five group that she joined at age 10 years old, was her starting point to sing and compose music. She performed as a stage performer at her university and participated in several productions by The Madras Players, EVAM as well as other theatre companies. She served as President of the The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career in theatre through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva as a leo coffee ad in 2006. The actress also appeared in a TV serial that was telecast on Podhigai. She has appeared in various shows in a variety of roles across India. She was in a short part at the conclusion of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to be the main character following her performance. she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea is Kalyani in the film which is a remake of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband takes part in an affair with her and she is subsequently blackmailed. Andrea was selected for the part following the actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The film came out in the beginning of 2010. Her minor role was accepted in the film of Venkat Mankatha in 2011 in which she starred alongside a variety of actors. The actress made her Malayalam debut in a film with Rajeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in the year 2013.
