Sofia Pernas grew in Orange County, California. Sofia Pernas - from Morocco Moroccan origin - relocated to California when she was a kid at the age of five. The actress got her first big break acting when she graduated from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a small part on NCIS and Leverage. She then landed the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless. The actress who left this soap at the end of 2016 landed the role as Catalina in the role of a regular in Jane the Virgin.
