Sofia and Ann

The Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was 5 years old and grew up in Orange County. Her graduation was from the University of California, San Diego in 2015. This was her year that she earned her biggest break in acting. Pernas appeared as a guest on NCIS and Leverage after which she was offered the role as Marisa as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. The actress who quit The soap after 2016, was cast in the role as Catalina as a regular on Jane the Virgin. The model who speaks several languages is now in The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. The actress played Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been seeing Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause and the This Is Us actress split in November 2018. News came out in May of 2021 about how Pernas and Hartley recently tied the knot with a private ceremony.
